1. As a new VIP member, how and when do I receive my VIP Club card?
All new members will automatically receive a VIP Club card in the mail within 3 weeks of registering.
2. How do I redeem VIP Club points?
Once you receive your VIP Club card via mail, you can start earning points! BEFORE you make your Lottery purchase, just ask the store clerk to scan your VIP CLUB CARD. IMPORTANT: IF YOUR CARD IS NOT SCANNED PRIOR TO PURCHASE, YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE POINTS. You earn ONE POINT for every $1 spent on Powerball, Mega Millions, Wild Card, Hot Lotto Sizzler, Double Play Daily and Idaho Pick 3. You cannot receive points for Scratch product purchases. Points are non-transferable.
3. Do my points expire?
Points will not expire, unless the Idaho Lottery changes/terminates the VIP Club for any reason.
4. When will my VIP Club points be available on line?
Typically your points will be processed each night. An updated balance will be reflected the next day in the VIP Club.
5. What can I redeem with my VIP Club points?
You may choose from a wide variety of VIP Club Sweepstakes.
6. How do I know how many VIP Club points I have earned to date?
Your total points earned will show up at the top of the VIP Store web page above the Sweepstakes items. Or you can get a summary of your points from any Idaho Lottery retail location by asking a clerk to print them off the Lottery terminal.
7. How do I enter in for Sweepstake prizes?
Once you have accumulated points. You can place your order online through the VIP Club website by clicking on the VIP STORE button. Once you have selected the Sweepstakes you want to enter, click on the "Redeem" button then verify your entries and proceed to confirm your ENTRIES. You can only ENTER for VIP Sweepstakes online.
8. What happens after I enter a Sweepstakes?
Once you have completed your order. An email confirmation will be sent to you outlining your order. The amount of points redeemed will be deducted from the "Points Earned" and added to the "Points Redeemed". Your "Points Available" is the amount of points remaining in your VIP Club account. You can check the Idaho Lottery website at http://www.idaholottery.com/vipSweepstakes/ for a list of VIP Sweepstakes winners.
9. What happens if I win a Sweepstakes?
If you win a VIP Sweepstakes prize, the Idaho Lottery will contact you by phone and e-mail. The winner must contact the Lottery Security Division after notification and posting on the website. Every effort will be made to contact winners by phone and e-mail information that was provided by entrant. The name of the winner will be published on the Idaho Lottery website no later than 3:00 PM MT on the day after the drawing. In the event a named winner cannot accept or participate, an alternate will be chosen and contacted. The winner drawn must verify their selection at Lottery offices within 72 hours of stepping forward as the winner.
10. An alternate winner will be chosen and contacted in the event of the following:
  • The winner cannot be notified due to incorrect or lack of contact information
  • The winner is disqualified for violation of VIP Club rules or policies
  • The points were accumulated through fraudulent means
  • The winner has not contacted the Lottery within the required time
  • The winner cannot accept or participate in the promotion
  • The winner is not 18 years of age
11. What shipping information do I need to know?
There are no additional shipping costs if you win a Sweepstakes.
12. What happens if I lose my VIP card or it stops working?
Contact us via email at info@idaholottery.com or by phone at 208-334-2600 to request a replacement VIP card.
